That was not what Jami McNees thought at all when she heard the word "cancer" and "her cancer" But                         

 she turned her journey into what she now calls "Beautiful Cancer"

Her book descibes her journey in depth and with "the Lightness" she chose to use dealling with her cancer. The principles can really be applied to every obstacle one might face and hopefully not as big as cancer.What if a Cancer experience could be amazing and beautiful? Mine was. In this little book, I share the concepts I used to have a BEAUTIFUL Cancer journey. A Cancer diagnosis has long been associated with feelings of overwhelming anxiety. This book is intended to re-frame the ways in which we might choose to process the experience of a Cancer journey. Sixty percent of all Cancer patients survive and thrive. It’s possible to shift our thinking away from fear and dread. Instead we can attempt to approach Cancer as an experience that might be amazing and beautiful…as was my journey.

  She believes that her Cancer Diagnosis was the Masters Class of Health Insurance. She had a life-threatening catastrophic illness that taught her more about Health Insurance and the availability of Medical Services in her region than any training class or certification could ever teach.

Jami knew the effects of Cancer would change her future health.  But she never imagined it would become such a significant part life within her community.  Advocating for support and resources for Cancer Patients and Survivors, Jami has taken on the role of Chairwoman of Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center to expand services to all Cancers.  No one should face Cancer alone.
