Reality Rally

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all about buying, buying, buying. And yes, we are all blessed enough to live in a wonderful country where this is a possibility--with stores holding literal doorbusters to get our business. But we are also blessed to live in a country of incredible generosity which happens all year round, with one special day set aside annually to bring awareness to the value of giving.

“So,” you’re saying, “you’re talking about Thanksgiving!”

Close. But, no! This December 1st is #GivingTuesday, an International Campaign day that is set aside for all of us to remember our favorite charity and donate. In honor of this upcoming “holiday”, the folks at http://www.urbanadventurequest.com/ donated an incredible $1000 last week to our charity www.michellesplace.org. The Urban Adventure group has fun city quests for people to do in 43 different cities, guided by the special smartphone app. To support Michelle’s Place Breast Cancer Resource Center, their wonderful donation came from a percentage of their October game sales.

The donation from Urban Adventure Quest came as a result of their involvement with Reality Rally. Reality Rally is a volunteer fundraising organization that spends most of every year raising funds for Michelle’s Place. Gillian, founder of Reality Rally, presented the $1000 check to Kim, the Director of Michelle’s Place. The donation will go towards services to help those in their battle with breast cancer. Thank you, Urban Adventure Quest! You embody the spirit that has built this country, and our charity would be hard pressed to do their good work without your generosity.

Donations will be gratefully accepted not only on December 1st but at anytime throughout the year. Please donate whatever you can.
