Reality Rally

Reality Rally would be nothing without its reality stars. Each one is amazing. Today, I’m writing about two that I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting…yet. Spirits on Bourbon owners Steve Smith and Brad Bohannan were featured in the season three opener of Bar Rescue. "Bar Rescue" is a docu-reality series featuring veteran nightlife expert Jon Taffer as he seeks to revamp and rescue bars on the brink. The name Spirits on Bourbon should tell you all you need to know, but just in case it’s a bar on the famous Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

After appearing on Bar Rescue, Brad and Steve got involved with Reality Rally. In two years, they have raised over $15,000 for Michelle’s Place! One way they raised funds was by hosting a benefit at Brad’s home. Entertainment was provided by a number of songwriters and performers. See fundraiser  By the way, Brad Bohannan is also a music producer and publisher. His publishing company, Bohannan-Hybner Publishing has songs cut by Easton Corbin, Craig Morgan, Chris Cagle, Tracy Lawrence, Colt Ford, Kevin Fowler, Josh Abott and Pat Green. The benefit also included a silent auction. That night more than $8,000 was raised. That’s quite an impressive total gentlemen!

Yesterday, I asked Brad what motivated him and Steve to come to Reality Rally and to work so hard to raise those big bucks. Brad told me that he doesn’t take his charity work lightly. He checked out Reality Rally thoroughly before signing on. Knowing that RR gives all the money it raises to the charity was a deciding factor for the duo. see their experience

Brad also says that Reality Rally gave him the chance to network and meet some new friends…not just friends, but friends for life. This doesn’t surprise me. I hear this time and time again from Reality Rally participants and volunteers. Heck, I say it myself all the time!

Another reason everyone returns time and again to Reality Rally is the town of Temecula, California. If you haven’t been there, you really should go. As Brad says, “Temecula is such a beautiful place and Reality Rally brings attention to it from around the world. I love telling people about the town and can't wait to explore it some more.” As you probably know, I lived in the area, so I agree with Brad 100%.
