Reality Rally

There are so many amazing stories attached to Reality Rally. The story of Erin Stone is one of my favorites. Watch this video to hear her story. Afterwards, I’ll tell you how this all connects back to Reality Rally.

That video features Erin as one of three winners of Under Armour’s fifth annual “Power in Pink” She’s A Fighter® Survivor Search. It’s an annual online campaign that seeks out survivors and women living with breast cancer to submit their empowering stories of utilizing fitness and exercise in the fight against breast cancer. So where’s Reality Rally in all this? Okay, let me explain…

Towards the end of Erin’s fight with breast cancer, her friend heard about Reality Rally. She thought this would be a great diversion for Erin, as well as giving them an opportunity to help others fighting the disease. To be able to choose your Reality Star, you have to raise $1,000. The women started hosting neighborhood poker parties to raise funds. They were able to connect with RR’s Gillian Larson. Gillian attended one of these poker parties and was overwhelmed by the positive attitude of Erin and the support of her friends and family. They were soliciting votes to choose their Reality star. Gillian knew that the choice of Holly Hoffman from Survivor was perfect. Fairy godmother Gillian put the wheels in motion. She contacted Holly and Team Erin was formed.

But, the story doesn’t end there. Reality stars at Reality Rally share rooms. Gillian had picked someone to room with Holly Hoffman, but at the last minute something made her change her mind. Yep, the fairy godmother strikes again! Holly ended up rooming with Kelly Alemi Cowan from The Swan.

Kelly has been a strong supporter of Reality Rally from the start. I am proud to call Kelly a friend. Anyone who knows her would agree with me! She works very hard to raise funds for Reality Rally. Kelly cares deeply for others and it shows. She became instant friends with Erin Stone and her team.  The next year, Team Erin raced with Kelly. Well, it turns out that Kelly’s neighbor is an executive for Under Armour. That was how Erin was able to find out about the Under Armour “Power in Pink” campaign. She applied and the rest is history.

What’s the moral of the story? Things happen for a reason. Erin Stone ended up at Reality Rally. She connected with Kelly Alemi Cowan. Kelly connected her to Under Armour. Erin was able to tell her story. That story has inspired many others.

Karma is the Buddhist belief that whatever you do comes back to you. I believe in this 100%. If you want good karma, you have to send out good karma. Reality Rally is an excellent way to try this out. Let me help you. I have a few ways you can earn some good karma!
